Getting started

Your dashboard

Your dashboard is the screen you land on after logging in - a quick view of what needs attention, how your business is doing this week, and what your team's up to today. Everything on it links straight through to the record behind it.

When you log in, you'll land on your dashboard. At the top there's a greeting with your name, today's date, and the business you're currently working in, along with a New enquiry button so you can start a fresh enquiry from anywhere. Below that, the page is split into a few sections to help you get on top of your day.

Needs your attention

Four cards summarise the things waiting on someone in your office. Click any card to open the full list.

  • Enquiries to follow up - open enquiries with an overdue task, linking to your enquiries list.
  • Quotes awaiting response - quotes that have been sent and are waiting on a reply, with their total value, linking to your quotes list.
  • Overdue invoices - invoices marked overdue, with the amount still outstanding, linking to your invoices list.
  • Timesheets to approve - time records waiting for approval, with the hours pending, linking to the time area.

Business health

Underneath, four figures give you a quick read on how the week's going. Click any of them to open the related area.

  • Active jobs - jobs that are in planning or in progress, with a note of how many are still in planning.
  • Quote pipeline value - the combined value of your draft and sent quotes, with a count of how many are out.
  • Outstanding invoices - the total still being collected across invoices that are sent, part-paid or overdue.
  • Hours this week - total hours worked over the last seven days, compared with the previous seven, plus how many people are clocked in on site right now.

Today across the team

Two panels show what's happening on site today.

  • Tasks due today - up to six incomplete tasks due today or earlier, soonest first. Each row shows the task, its job reference, who it's assigned to, and whether it's due today or overdue.
  • On site now - everyone currently clocked in, showing their name, the job they're on, how long they've been working, and when they started.

Click a job reference to open that job, or click "Timesheets" to view time records.

Recent activity

At the bottom, a feed shows the seven most recent updates to your enquiries - things like a status change, a note being added, or an enquiry being converted. Each row names who did it, what happened, and when. Click through to open the enquiry.

Good to know

  • Everything on your dashboard is specific to the business you're currently working in - you only ever see your own figures.
  • Money is shown in pounds, and the greeting changes through the day (morning, afternoon, evening).
  • Where a card or panel has nothing to report, it shows a short "all clear" message instead of a number.

Common questions

Does the dashboard update automatically?
No, the figures are a snapshot from when the page loaded. Refresh the page to bring them up to date.
Why does a card show a message instead of a number?
When there's nothing to report for that card or panel, it shows a short 'all clear' message instead of a count.
Can I see more than six tasks or seven activity updates?
Not directly on the dashboard. Click through to the linked list, for example your enquiries list, to see everything.
Will I see other businesses' data on my dashboard?
No, everything on your dashboard is specific to the business you're currently working in.
